Dr. Rachel and her husband, Cameron, moved to Greenville for her preceptorship portion of schooling to gain experience in the chiropractic field before graduation.
Before attending Logan University, Dr. Rachel earned her master’s of exercise physiology at Appalachian State University with a specialization in strength and conditioning. She worked in the strength and conditioning field for 2 years with a variety of athletes ranging from young middle school athletes, to elite college and NFL players.
Dr. Rachel played Division 2 Soccer at Mars Hill University. During that time, she learned the importance of building a solid foundation of movements, lengthening and strengthening muscle tissue that ultimately increases injury prevention and overall performance and recovery. These are methodologies that Dr. Rachel uses with every patient she sees.
She has experience working with athletes across all levels (Olympic, Paralympic, Crossfit Games, NFL, NCAA, High School, and youth sports) and loves the opportunity to help someone who is passionately working towards a goal whether the goal is to compete at a high level or becoming pain free in the gym.
Dr. Rachel has additional education in,
